My Father always did the grocery shopping. He washed his and my Mothers laundry and their dishes. He also took care of their yardwork, the pool, and paid all bills. It is very hard to watch men not contributing to house duties. My Father was awesome!

These men are pathetic. My husband was brought up to be an excellent cook and housekeeper. In the 1980s when our children were young it made financial sense as he was self-employed for him to work part time and collect them from school (I dropped them at school on my way to work) do the food shop and look after the house whilst I worked full time. He went full time again when they started secondary school. It worked very well. I would never have put up with a man like this in a million years.

What a load of cr*p. As if Mum doesnt sit and use the tv for herself at all, or as a distraction for the kids. And she uses her teenage daughter to help her. You don't need to vacuum/sweep, mop, dust everyday. They need to give the older kids chores, rather than banging on about full time working Dads doing a load of dishes. If Mums not happy and needs time out, SAY SOMETHING. Dad works full time and needs time out too. Mum chose to stay home, thats their jobs.

Working class or northern people tend to call their evening meal ‘tea’ I call my evening meal ‘dinner’ and posh people call evening meal ‘supper’. Tea is also a hot drink 🫖 🍵 and a mid afternoon tea is sometimes served as a hot drink with sandwiches, scones and cakes as in afternoon tea. I hope this helps a bit. I have breakfast, lunch then dinner.
