Always thought these were so cool, my chicken house is a good ways away from my actual house so going out twice a day just to open and close their door can be a pain at time especially when running late for work in the mornings, awesome looking product!

I've watched all your videos. Building a coop from all your ideas. My husband is an Army Veteran and I got furloughed, so money is really tight right now. Would love to win this! Minks and raccoons are all over. Want to make sure my girls are safe! Thank-you for your videos and your service.

Thanks for video! What size is the rough opening for the door?
@LonnieandJess4 жыл бұрын
I love that..we will have to look into that. We are in the process of using your guide to build our chicken cook now.. Do you have an automatic door from your henhouse to the run? Or do you just leave it open?
@LazyLabAcres4 жыл бұрын
Henhouse stays open since the run is secured!

I just ordered one and came here for instruction. You made it look pretty easy to install. On the video the door sounded a little loud. Is it loud? Did it scare your chickens, or they weren’t bothered by it? Thanks much!!
@LazyLabAcres3 жыл бұрын
Chickens weren't bothered at all!
@ramanidpr403 жыл бұрын
what is the purpose of the door ? to close at a certain hour ? locked all night ? would be nice with face recognition, when hen stands in front of door , the door opens ...., when squirel or crow stands in front of door , door keeps closed :-)) so....only access for resident VIP chickens :-))

I am currently in the process of building my coop using your videos and the companion guide I purchased from you. The way it is installed couldn't predators pull on the string to release the lock? Would it be better to put it on the inside or maybe make a string guard with a panel in front of the string from the controller down to the door? Just curious because I am looking at doing the same type of setup.
@LazyLabAcres4 жыл бұрын
I don't think any animal is going to pull the string upward while simultaneously pulling the bottom of the door upward. Not to mention they would have to hold it up while walking through it. I just don't see that being a legit concern, but it is never a bad idea to be super cautious because critters can be pesky.

Hello from Colorado! I'm in the process of building a coop. I was looking at your amazing video of your coop and am redoing my plans. I will have to reinforce for bears though. This product looks promising for protecting my chickens from the local Raccoons, Coyotes, Bobcats, Mountain Lions, Hawks, Owls, and Eagles. Forgot to mention Wolves. If I win, I'll make a video to show it off!
