Oh, I just got it. The reason he starts with Soy Milk is because he does only 1 damage, but he does it without regard for invincibility frames- which is what Soy Milk basically does, doing a bunch of 1-damage increments.

Also the bullets turn white (like bones) and Sans basically just spams bones at your face. Its way too fitting. They should have given him compound fracture since then they actually are little splitting bones but probably to strong.

If you're wondering why Placenta is an apron it's because in UNDERTALE an armor you collect is the Stained Apron, which every other turn heals 1 hp, which matches the effect of placenta.

For other details: The Cellphone is the Bible because the Cellphone gives you a jetpack in Undertale. The Devil Tarot is a reference to the Undertale Tarot card where Chara has similar art. The things used in Satan's stompy phase are Hyperdeath's arms, because the dude has no legs. (Also Cathedral is PROBABLY a reference to the Judgement hall but that's just a theory, a game theo-)

@@feefington I know why, it’s because the texture is overlayed the Conjoined texture. There doesn’t have to be much of a reason behind the particles make you shoot in 3 directions. Of course, it could always be that your character is more hostile maybe? Because maybe, in the fight, if I remember correctly, the characters with particles on their heads will attack you? I’m just spitballing reasons for it, the reason could, afterall, just be funny reference.

I think tainted sans is just fucking, queen or some shit Tainted Lilith is King, I think someone is Mad Mew Mew from undertale, Ralsei has two varients, one for hooded and non hooded, suzie is tainted samson, etc

(around 15:35) I think I know what's going on here - In the base game, every floor's music has two "layers," the regular song, and the battle beat. The battle beat layer is only audible when in a room with active enemies, fading in upon entering a hostile room then fading out on a room clear. It appears the devs simply made both layers the exact same audio, so that they didn't have to manually split hihats or whatever. (Also Womb is converted to Hotlands, not Core)

The Binding of Undertale holds a special place in my soul. I remember playing it seven years ago after seeing a really small KZbinr play a 100 part series (channel name of Windless Zephyr). It’s what got me into BoI. That series kept me sane throughout high school, it completely blew my mind how one of my favorite games was translated so seamlessly into a rogue like. You’ll never understand how pumped I was to see it get updated with Deltarune characters when Repentance came out. I started a brand new file where this is the main mod; some characters are better than the originals and some are worse, but everything feels overall balanced (except Berdly, he replaced T. Apollyon but sucks for some reason). One other essential mod to go with this is the Deltarune explosion mod. It’s exactly what you think with the same sound effect.

omg i remember playing this mod in 2017! it's so great seeing it again and all the little things they added like the monster candy as pills, sans ventricle razor, all the neat deltarune easter eggs the next time you play this mod you should try out toriel or mettaton! edit: undertale references you missed i think - apron over placenta is because the apron heals you every other turn in undertale - conjoined is mimicking the way the characters look during the lost soul section of the asriel fight - womb is actually hotland, not core - guppy's tail is supposed to be flowey's stem; it's even in the same pose he was in in the post omega flowey cutscene where he begs you to kill him - monstro's lung kinda looks like snowy? though i guess you could also see it as like gaster or whimsun
