Something about Azazel - in I believe the book of Edith, Azazels story goes as follows: when god created earth, he made “the watchers” to guide humanity. But some of these watchers were a bit corrupt. They would sleep with the humans, and creating giants know as nephilim. But Azazel, at least in gods eyes, was the worst. For he taught humans to exploit the earth, and to use violence. God was unhappy with how the world turned out and flooded it. Azazel was sentenced to eternal darkness for corrupting the world. His story cointinues on, but that’s just how he became… evil?

Tbh Its really interesting character and i was suprised that somebody made Azazel mechanic that he can fall to the dark side (devil), that made me happy cuz Azazel was in many books and was portrayed as fallen angel that serves satan or as an normal angel that serves gods, and the mechanic that you can decide what side you want Is really great and looks like a lot of fun

It unnecessarily bothers me that the character started with Black Hearts instead of Soul Hearts. It's like, I instantly associate the Black hearts with Devil related things and seeing that the character is flagrantly a divine angel makes me feel uncomfortable in a way that a free Mod for a 12-year-old video game shouldn't make me feel.

interesting mod! it's cool to see alternate characters actually... work with the base character and their themes/motifs, as opposed to just feeling like a completely new character (why i don't like most of the tarnished characters haha) - i like starting with knife but with low damage as equivalent to starting with brimstone but with low range. cool workaround! whole descent thing makes sense especially when you remember azazel is unlocked *by* taking devil deals - and leaning into curse room play is interesting since curse rooms being free at first is a cool thing about azazel. i love when modders actually seem to think about the characters, it's fun! interested in where this mod goes, love your videos as always! I’m a 2D vision instead of floating and circling like normal wings do, the motion is that of ‘flutter’ in an anatomical sense it also counts too as the wings oerhaps hard to fly can however be able to be used to keep th body afloat. Which is why the motion seems ‘peculiar’. At least this was my first instance of seeing it. Hopefully it’d clear it for you!
