For context, metamorphosis is a horrific story about a girl that decides her life is boring, then gets sexually abused, raped, turned into a prostitute while pregnant and then kills herself by a drug overdose. The reason it's infamous is because these acts are depicted and the story has no redemption. The pornographic parts (and indeed the story in general) really serve no purpose except to be transgressive, and that's why it's infamous - it's just a really messed up story. Fundamentally it's just something a very sick mind dreamt up that has no greater moral or meaning, but it's a meme, so here we are

9:15 From my experience, she can only have 6 hearts total, and only up to 3 red hearts. Any extra red hearts instead add 1 use to the pocket active. Broken hearts thankfully don't count. Also, the white Satan is apparently called Laban, named after Rebekah's brother in the Bible. Why he likes to scam you here, I dunno.

I believe that the "gonga crystal" form is actually Immortal Heart compatibility! Rebekah's mod page lists the Team Compliance Immortal Heart mod as having an "easier new personality unlock." So I'm assuming it's not locked to just that mod, but if you have both mods installed, it gives you a new option to switch to that form?

man this makes me wanna do more research on Rebekah the bible character to get the references, some of my favorite parts of isaac is trying to figure out how their mechanics translate to the og stories :)) Oh! I think the final Rebekah (The one with Gonga Crystal) is maybe a holy mantle variant? Also, I looked up the 45th Psalms and its about marriage to royalty and wifes role towards her husband and such. Makes sense given that Rebekah is Isaacs wife in the bible and I suppose being married to one of God's blessed humans is sort of like marrying royalty- or it could just be that its gold and gold=royalty and Rebekah is related to marriage. OH CRAZY DETAIL!!! In what I assume is Rebekah's room there's what I think are baby Jacob and Esau since Rebekah is their mother in the Bible! I think the reason that it could be Jacob and not just Isaac is because I think Jacob was born without hair- or it was just mentioned that Esau was hairy thus implying Jacob had quite less hair. Sorry for all the edits but I love learning about this stuff and catching details!!

If you can believe it, Glitch Rebecca used to be even more insane before the reworks. She used to have a mechanic where her dash was actually a counter stance that lasted maybe 1 or 2 frames, and upon getting hit during it, a number would appear above your head and start counting from 1 to 13. You had to stop it by firing, and each number had a different effect tied to it that you could get consistently. The most busted of the bunch being number 12, because you just straight-up spawned rewards like pickups, chests, and even items, which were based on the pool of the room you were in, so secret rooms became stupidly easy to abuse, alongside any special rooms with a damage source inside them, because ANY form of damage could trigger the counter stance. And we haven't even gotten to the pocket active for her, which was its own level of insane. You spawned a glitched copy of yourself in the spot you were standing in, and for the remainder of the room, any damage you took would instead make a number above the clone count up, while you yourself took 0 damage. Only upon leaving the room would you take 1 full heart of damage, no matter how much damage the clone tanked. You could abuse blood banks and demon beggars with this very easily. You could cheese boss fights that are traditionally hard to dodge with this. The only caveat was that you had to avoid letting your clone reach 50 hits, because if it did, you would instantly die Damacles style. So yeah, used to be extra cracked. The other variants seem largely the same to when I last played the character mod, so only Glitch Rebekah got the rework treatment I think. Except the one with the gonga crystal, who just wasn't there before, as far as I know.
