Even if the LBA didn't want to directly participate or support the Pad Yatra, they should have atleast present at the Chokhang as a respect to Palga Rimpochey... Secondly LBA shouldn't have any objections on Rimpochey Pad Yatra upto Kargil as he has already promised to the Buddhists of Kargils and they are expecting since then.... And also Gonpa wouldn't sprung up in one day by the visit of Rimpochey..... I respect you kaga Thupstan but bit disappointed by the way you handled or discussed the issue with Rimpochey...you could have handled Rimpochey with care and respect which seemed to be absent.. I also appeal to the people of Kargil to show their secularism/brotherhood which they always claims but seems missing till now..Lastly I hope and pray for construction of kargil monastery harmoniously...

Please those people who r not in favour of building this gonpa... Just please reflect on ur words of what u r talking about. plz understand that The building of gonpa is very crucial for us From ages As a resident of Kargil district we feel so ashamed and unfortunate for seeing our Gonpa in this condition, We r not here to seize that place and build our gonpa to show any kind of our power. We just want to reconstruct the old gonpa. We just want to make it look more like a gonpa than an abondoned old building with no one to take care of , maintain it as done in our other praying places - and foremost when seen by passerby they call it A GONPA( as it doesn't seems like one). It's a matter to consider strongly, we were in need of support and are in need of support of every muslim and Buddhist people of Ladakh so that we are able to go there freely and make changes however we want. If u really think that secularism and freedom of religion exist in our Ladakh please just let us do it by supporting us.

Straight forward questions to Tsewang_Thupstan : 1) why to talk with kDA, ISK and IKMt (all are private organisation who have no stake in Buddhist land, property etc).? 2) on which dates you met with Buddhist association members of kargil, zangskar to discuss the matters of Buddhist issues? 3) whats steps have been executes to help Buddhist association and poors people of Buddhist till date by LBA Leh_Ladakh in terms of funds, moral support and property? 4) How much (in terms of months) you have visited the villages of buddhist people? 5) whats constrains, problems you observed? (list out and speek on public plateform and forward it to LG Ladakh, Home Ministers and High officials of Govt of India)

Pad yatra se bhi behtar option aur kya ho sakta hai ka thupstan? U r saying u will discuss with kda and administration and then try to find a gud solution and a gud way for the restoration of Gompa. From last 60 years we didn't find any better way or a better solution to restore our Gompa then how do u expect a better way this time? If someone is now taking initiative peacefully to restore the Gompa then u shud either support it or simply stay mum, some of ur statements regarding Rimpoche was not even required, it shows imbalance and lack of trust and unity between our own Buddhist community. U r Criritzising rimpoche for his statements at chokhang, those things were not necessary to mention here in this interview, chup chap beth jaata to thik tha, also we don't need permission or anything from KDA and local kargil ppl. If local kargil ppl try to bring obstacles on the way after reaching kargil, then immediately leh Jama masjid shud be locked unless they don't let us restore the Gompa with peace and harmony.

Building up a Gonpa at Kargil shouldn't be a big issue. Because the demography of Kargil consist of 14% Buddhist Population. And the said place is at headquarter of Kargil district . And there is also a claim of having the said peace of land for religious purpose. But the path should be harmonious . First of all the past rulings about the place should be clarified and the purpose of land should be decided by the legislature and bureaucracy. After that further actions would be feasible.
