So good to know there are options for trying to hold onto my hair. I had no idea that cold capping is a thing. Wow, thank you for sharing!!! 💛💛💛

I did cold caps too. I agree with everything you said. I lost about 60% of my hair and I was still glad that I did it, but there were cons... just like you said: very uncomfortable, difficult/miserable process, and I found the fact that I didn't look sick, per se, hard at times. I was so sick, but looked ok. It would have been nice to have more TLC and kindness from strangers when I could barely move, drive, etc. Spot on. Thank you!

Im on my third cold capping next week with digicap, so far I think I have lost the average percentage, one question I have is about the eye brows, I just to have thick eyebrows but now I see them smaller, do you have any suggestions. I really appreciate any suggestions that can help. Hope you are doing well. Thank you!

I’m happy that you came out on the other side of this experience. Strong women like you give me hope for everyone who has to suffer from cancer.

Wow! Thank you for your honest perspective! This was very helpful! If you don’t mind me asking, what made it so painful? The mix with the chemo or just the cap? How long did the pain last? You look amazing! Best wishes fellow Thriver!👊🏾🙏🏾😎

would you share what type of diet protocol you were placed on during chemo

I’ll have 24 weeks of chemo infusions. I don’t think I can handle the cap situation too.

Thank your for comment. This is a personal decision, of course. Here is another perspective on scalp cooling that we think you might find insightful: www.lbbc.org/blog/cooling-the-scalp-to-reduce-hair-loss-sienna-cordoba

May I ask what chemo drug blend you were on? I am asking because I've read the cold caps can be more successful w/ certain drugs than others. THX!! (anyone on here I welcome your input)

It burned so bad I couldn’t breathe and ended up having to take it off. I feel like such a failure. I just totally had a panic attack!!

That is not a failure. If it wasn't right for you, that's ok. Thinking of you.

I am doing the cold cap now and I lost a lot of hair after my second a/c chemo last week.

This is normal, you still lose hair but it keeps most of it in tact without bald patches.. I'm going through breast cancer at the moment and so far I have been cold capping weekly.. it's ok I try to think of other things 😢@@ellenosofsky2552
