Wow! Amazing video!!! What is not clear to me is when they used to powder their hair with pomatum and powder did the ever wash it with water, maybe once a month or once in 3 months, or they never ever used water to clean hair??🤔🤔🤔 Same question for when people used powders as dry shampoo did they sometimes used water to clean hair or it was always powder + brushing to clean hair??

Yes, washing the hair was done occasionally. Soap balls were a large commodity and not just for sponge bathing; it just wasn't done as we think of washing more frequently until the 19th century.
