I met Rob back in 1995 when I worked for GAME in Cardiff. This guy walked in and asked if he could see the Discworld PC game, he then claimed it did a load of voices on it. Being a Doubting Thomas we insisted on him doing some of the voices featured in the game, I particularly remember his Michael Caine impression. Thoroughly nice chap.

I'm now searching for the game online in a fit of nostalgia. Tough to find somewhere from whence to download it. "An ironing board. Hmm . . . Long and smooth"

Fascinating. I can remember my father who had a great sense of comedy, except that it stopped dead with The Odd Couple. Pythons, Goodies, Young Ones left him stone cold, but then along came Marion & Geoff. It was the episode where there was some celeb opening and Steve Coogan, but it all happens off camera. We're watching the terrible, terrible of a man being cuckolded and it all happens by sound cues. The enormous, then the mic drop, the feedback as the out of sight characters are eating the face of each other. My dad was just helpless with laughter that all on Finchley could hear.

This was joyful to watch, I noticed he said "it's not unusual" quite a few times, I'm presuming it's a Welsh thing. 😊

I didn't know he could do these voices. I wonder if he could impersonate, say, Ronnie Corbett. 🤔

Hope Rob never leaves WILTY. Despite all of his other work, he, Lee and David have made that show an institution.
