LBO for North India Hindi Speaking States!

Sir, will these LBOs be replacement of POs recruited through IBPS in future? Coz after Indian Bank, Union Bank of India are recruiting it without giving a single vacancy in IBPS PO so I think other banks like PNB, BOI, BOM, CBoI, etc., may also come up with the same in future so what will be the fate of Probationary Officers??

I'm from Karnataka I can speak, read and write Hindi. I had hindi as 3rd language in school.

Sir, People from Hindi speaking India will also apply as in notification lpt is there and any serious candidate can learn language within 3 month. Several institute are running other state language courses. And best thing of this lbo notification is that officer selected in this post should be posted for atleast 10 years in same state and during this time they can take promotion till chief manager. And there is no difference in terms of salary n perks between general officers n LBO.

@@JAIMATADI-eo5vk it's easier said than done..POs posted outside state for 3-4 years can't survive and quit their jobs then how can someone stay in other state for 10 years straight??wouldn't you want to get married or what??

Plus for getting a bank job, I'll learn a language, it's not a time wastage!! 1.5 year back I thought I'll be filling from Maharashtra and was learning language for 3 days. But no a big no after that. Isse acha aur jyada pad k job le lenge but itna kuch nehi karna

Bro learning south indian languages is not easy, I'm from Karnataka and learnt hindi by spending time with my friends from Bihar ,Rajasthan. Now I'm proficient in Hindi but my friends can't form a simple sentence 😂 even after 6 months. If you know one south indian language it's a lot easier to learn other south languages.

@@piratetricks3234 you're right brother..Hindi is a very easy language..I'm a Bengali and due to dad's transfer in Bank I had stayed in Chattisgarh back until 2005..so today I'm very fluent in Hindi but I couldn't learn Bengali as much despite living here for almost 20 years now..coz learning Bengali is tougher than Hindi imo

Sir, I think this is right step because here in Karnataka, in public sector banks we can see regular friction between bank employee and customers regarding kannada language. These incidents have increased recently because of state government is supporting kannada activist groups for their political vote bank.

One has to recognize the existence, importance and INCLUSION of minority communities! It's a part and parcel of having efficient and well adjusted governance or admin operations around the nation. Just the sheer bias and immature behavior of most aspirants crying over "where's my vacancy" is abhorrent and goes to show how they are soo behind than an actually serious, well educated and aware aspirant. Use common sense guys...stop getting agitated about every other notice/circular at this point.

Other state wale dusre state me jate hai jo language barrier aa rai hai while customer dealing and business me tab bank ne aise step uthaye hai... Dusre state wale ko samjna chahiA... Interview ke pehle lpt rakha hai...that is good

Exactly sir (wayse mujhe Hindi se koi dikkat nahi hain na ki Hindi bolne wala logose)lekin bat hain Clerk level ki job pe jaha local language must hain woha per Hindi state se log ate hain or local customer se misbehave karte hain hindi na bolne ke liye .... Hello sir LBO ka exam clear karne ke baad Language proficiency test regional language me hoga ye toh samajh me aaya Lekin uske baad jo interview hoga kya woh bhi regional language me hoga ya phir English or hindi

Yes they can ask some general questions just to check but if someone clears LPT then no issue.

Language ke basis pe discrimination nhi hona chahiye Clerical level pe to LPT tha hi office Level pe kam sa kam discrimination nhi hona chahiye . Language proficient Bank ko chahiye to clerical level mai jo hai unhe promote karke office bana de . selection ke baad kam se kam 6 months ka time dena chahiye Language sikhne ke liye

Sir, why is there discrimination on a language basis? If it continues, then other banks will also report vacancies in South/West states. Then why do we give so much of HARDWORK for years to become a PO? Sir, from an aspirant's point of view, it is a clear injustice.
