I also have a pair of 3D printed web shooters, I found the best way is to glue elastic on BOTH sides and just stretch it open to get them on your wrists. They're harder to put on like that but they stay in place correctly. I also added magnets to mine to keep the panels lined up, but that's optional.

I actually tried gluing elastics on both sides, and maybe my hand was too big or the elastics weren’t long enough, for the life of me I couldn’t fit my hands in there. Gonna have to purchase stronger magnets then… 😭

@@lboycarson I bought a roll of good elastic on Amazon, it was almost as wide as the web shooter parts. Rather than gluing small pieces on the sides, I glued the ends on the middle of each half (two pieces, one for each side). Having more elastic means it can stretch more, if you have a small piece it can't stretch very much. I'd show photos if I could. I never got magnets alone to work, and I tried some really strong ones. The elastic is what actually keeps it together.

Very nice webshooters! The rubber ones that you mentioned are the ones that I have, and they're actually good and flexible which is helpful for stunts in fan films. For $200, I'd expect the magnets to be stronger and at least be able to take out a web cartridge using a magnet, but if that's the only option you had that's fair. Portugeek's products look so good! But I do think 200 bucks is asking for a lot for a product that has a fair bit of issues. Other than that, nice product!

You can superglue a little flat magnet on the web shooter and then a Bracelet made of rubber material like spandex and attach another magnet to it and pull the bracelet over your wrist and under the suit

Did you crack your left lens? I also think those extra magnets that fell when you were unboxing are meant to be glue to the palm so you can magnetize them to your suit and not have to worry about the palm triggers flopping about.

There are other webshooters that are pretty sturdy, my personal preference … the Disney toy webshooters . Tbh I like the fact that they have a great paint job , and are actually web- SHOOTERS. I mean … I’m 17 and I still use the toy ones 😅 I don’t really care about the “ you’re too old to use those “ comments lol. Plus they fit my budget since they’re just 25 bucks.

200 isn’t outrageous when u consider the labour going into making and assembling and painting, the trigger u can glue a round magnet to under it like u showed, easy mod, if u contact TJack he makes a urethane version that’s not as flimsy , look back in his page u should see it All u need to do it add a elastic strip to either side so it doesn’t come apart and u can slide your hand in

I just got myself the Homecoming ‘Stark Suit’ and I absolutely love it. My first suit too lmao. The Stark suit is probably my most favorite design. Also went on the cheaper side and got the $65 one from printcostumes. Didn’t have a measuring tape lmao so just got the XS 163cm fits well enough. Hard zipping the U shape zipper but I manage to get in . Also got souls cuz cheaper than kungfoo shoes. Oh and got raised emblems and leather straps. Absolutely perfect. The colours are a bit darker than the movie probably a civil war version. But honestly idc it’s just awesome to have in my possession as a Spider-Man collector 😂. I’m not really a cosplayer but I couldn’t resist getting this
