As much as I like diesels, there's no denying that these pre-war locos have so much personality. Nothing aggressive about them, just nicely paced machines.

Oh great, a barking Terrier ! I don't like barking dogs but a Terrier is something different. Thank you !

I presume its not giving off the distinctive shallow bark, because of the boiler type or the chimney? Or maybe because you only get it when its not going full power
@18EStudios2 жыл бұрын
It's the chimney. W11 Newport has an Isle of Wight one which looks and sounds different to the Drummond chimney, that a few of the surviving terriers, have which in turn looks and sounds different to the Stroudley chimney that produces the typical shallow bark that the locos are known for. Apologies if I complicated things slightly 😂

@@18EStudios That's interesting and explains the sharper bark in the video! I have a 00 gauge model of Freshwater. Does this have the other type of chimney or the type that's on the loco in the video?

@@mattseymour8637 Who is the manufacturer of your model? Hornby or Dapol?
@mattseymour8637 Жыл бұрын
@@18EStudios It's an older Hornby model but was referring to the real life version
