I like your reviews very much, but one thing I keep wishing you would do, because it's crucial for me in choosing a home, is to hover over all the cabinets/storage areas so we can see what's there. I would really like to have seen if those ingots were "ingot storage" or not, and I'd love to have lots of strong boxes/safes by my enchanting table so I can put rings/amulets etc in there, enchanted and non enchanted. Alchemy area is similar, you need lots of storage there. Anyway, thanks, hope you are well, and that we see more of you in the future.

I agree that chickens should be free range in the sun. At least the chicken house is big. I want deck furniture. :) It's a nice mod, and worth the cost because you get farm produce,, etc. as well as gold. Hmm, I think I'll have to install this. Regarding the marriage candidate--no ginger man? LOL.

The reason why those chairs at 10:40 are acceptable is because they adequately support you and your back without putting much strain on your lumbar either, considering they're solid and wrap around to allow you to rest your arms securely on it. The sofas, on the other hand, are simply obtuse to sit on, given that the sitting space where you put your bottom is generally longer than the chairs, forcing you to slump and put strain on your lumbar, all while without providing any comfortable support at all, nor a space to rest your arms. And frankly, those chairs are absolute kino.

Oh God no, I was never a barrister or judge! I did property law until I was made redundant in the crash of 2008 - which did me a favour because I hated it by then and knew I'd made a wrong turn in my life but I couldn't get out of it. When you're plonked on your backside in that way you soon learn to scramble!

Last comment, but regarding your remark at 17:32, the only thing that comes to mind is a question, that being why is Babies fashion so good? Everytime I go in a shop and pass by the baby aisle, I'll always stop to take a look at the clothes on display and be struck by how cute it is. It's even worse if I'm with my mum, because we both get distracted by them. Anyway, that's enough random rambling for one day. Back to business.

So I gotta ask. What’s your most favorite vanilla building? Any building in Skyrim you would love to mod just for you, especially one that may not have a mod yet. Mine is Pelagio Tower. I don’t know what it is about that spot, but it’s just magnificent. I’d happily turn it into a pub for anyone who wants a rest & a good drink. It would be like my neutral zone for all. I’d especially love to hire Mr. Guevenne as my bar keep. Constantly keep people on their best behavior or else they might find themselves in a “drinking contest” they might regret. Lol

Hmmm that made me think long and hard. Of the vanilla housing available I'd probably say the Archmage's Quarters. Obvs, now that I have the Immersive College of Winterhold the quarters are amazeballs, but even in the vanilla I did enjoy that indoor garden.

God, it's taken me like the entire just to watch half of this video and I have no idea why. When I first opened it up, I watched like 1 minute before getting bored and heading straight to boards for 3 hours. Then, after that I watched 5 minutes and then left it to dick around in happy wheels before watching another few minutes right before I went out for a drink. Either way, a beautiful home and review once again. Every good house mod tells a story about the form and function of the estate, and it's clear as day that this is very clearly oriented towards combat and warfare, as expected of a feudal man-at-arms. Everything Locaster has made beforehand has been stunning, but I think this takes the cake, purely in the sense that it's nice and spacious, but not too big and quite warm and homely too (not to mention, fairly simple too, especially how buying it would effectively make you a lord, which is how you gain that title in real life too (by buying a lord of the manor title)). I rate it an 8/10 on the Gabbro relaxation scale. Pretty good, for a fly home. And it feels very much like a traditional castle, too, unlike an obtuse and massive construct you commonly see in fantasy.

I agree that the size and scale are perfect for me - not so huge that I get lost - e.g I'd have to have a tracking spell put on me in some of the large castles (Raven Castle I'm looking at you, even though I love you) so I could get my servants to come and get me when I'm lost :)

The chickens are actually better off inside. My brother in law bought 100 chickens since his family has lots of land. They were in an open air shed. Day after day some animal would come and kill the chickens off a few at a time, and in a short while all the chickens were killed. Chickens probably appreciate being in a building safe from elements and from the coyotes and foxes.

I'm on a wedding list?? Nah, can't be, the hair color doesn't really match. I really like this one: the size is just as big as it needs to be for me playing a lord of a keep. The entrance hall/throne room is just big enough to feel like a feudal lord and but not lost and tiny like in other big ass castles. The decorations hit the "personal enough but not overdone" mark if you ask me, it's rich of details but not crammed (although some mod authors have mastered the art of making completely crammed homes that still don't feel as you have just entered a compulsive hoarders home) and also have some very cool self made decorations like the banners with its own crest. I wonder if it is available on.... No sadly not on Xbox. 😢

My only problem with this house cause i got it yeah...its the soldiers are weak and nonessential.On lvl 60 got attacked by the legendary dragon and just wiped out all my guards from that time got no guards anymore. :( Cant find how to replace them like in the Citadel mod from the same modder.Also the mod from that modder is the Build of your own noblehouse.There the guards and all npc-s are essential nonkillable.Perfect to survive wild animal and dragon attacks.Those three mods work well together Boyonh(build of your own noblehouse) adds a lot of credit to get Frostfall and also Byonh gives so many sources to make ranking up in Citadel more easy.

I've figured it all out. Download and use Nevah's keep. get the coin out of the secret room there. Download fuedal keep. Purchase keep with coin from nevah's keep download either build your own noble house and or Lc citadel. use keep's income and firewood to build build your own noble house. Start with the carpenter. By stuff from him to build rest of place. and or use coin from keep to buy rank from citadel

If you only need coin Citadel is best if you only want coin and food the keep is best if you want all and the headache than build your own noble house is best if you dont care take all of them

This house is adorable , but the problem no storage for potions , poison and foods in the kitchen , plus the empty shelves , I would rather like to have storage for ingots , and othet stuff not only for my armor and weapons , Thank you

Well it's been a while but Heljarchen farm works. There is some conflict with the house on the farm but not the interior just some landscape conflict outside that messes with the stairs.

From the mod page:- Support for adopting two Hearthfire children using 'Bless this home' from Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions. Enter the castle and bless the main hall before adopting. 5- Support for the standard or other mod added spouses when using Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions to 'Bless this home'. Enter the castle and bless the main hall, and you will be able to move your spouses to the keep. However, I recommend using the spouses that I have added as well as they will be more attractive and smarter - the regular AI might not be able to handle the multiple floors of the keep. Try using Multiple Floor Sandboxing if you really want to use a vanilla spouse.
