Crazy thing is I'm divorcing and about to tear apart this track and move out! BUT, I'm buying another house with a backyard that is a bit smaller, but still big enough for a track. Over the next year or so I'll be posting videos of building the new track etc. Thanks for your comment though, this current track was my work of art!

@@PlasmaOscillations All the best dude with the moving, and looking forward seeing the creation of the new track! I'm just waiting for my 1st EMB TG to arrive, and hope it will be more sturdy than my WL 124019 (that I love too, but broke and fixed him a million times now XD). I live DIY-style many ways, and what you had built here is really beautiful "work of art"! Cheers!

Very nice ! Have you ever had damages on your EMB using it on your track with the plastic tubes ? I do not use plastic tubes on my track and high grass protect very well my cars, but for visibility reason I am thinking about switching to plastic tubes.
@PlasmaOscillations3 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply! No damages from the plastic tubes, other than some scratches on the wheels from rubbing against it at times. The tubes give slightly and the car tends to bounce off it. I pop out a turnbuckle cup joint once in a while. Nothing bad.

I just bought the same little LC truggy, Looks ,like she handles pretty well. Are you running a 2s in yours? Nice little track btw.
@PlasmaOscillations6 жыл бұрын
Dwayne, yes this is shot with a 2s. A 3s is overkill on my track, though I've tried. Enjoy the truck, it's a blast to drive.

Awesome ! Put some water down and change tires and i bet itd be fun
@PlasmaOscillations3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I typically have it watered down but for some reason I didn't before this video. The track is different nowadays, most of the clay powder has sunken below the top layer of sand. I'm looking into purchasing synthetic grass to cover the whole thing but that is expensive! I have not used the track in over a year but I'm slowly trying to get back to the hobby. Cheers!
@louisgoldberg17553 жыл бұрын
@@PlasmaOscillations yes dude i can also tell by yur ID younprobably have other hobbies that include synths. I totally hear you hobby is expensive and hard to find time in these days. Would love to see more vids, always wanted a house w a lil track in the back! Nice work

Now i see why tracks keep them wet, that thing was like trying to drive on ice.
@PlasmaOscillations3 жыл бұрын
Yeah normally I water it down, but for some reason I was lazy that day and drove dry... Even with all wheel drive it was sliding.

I plan on buying this for my son to race on a small outdoor 1/10 track. What's a good replacement esc? Also where do u mount the transponder /rx if u plan on changing radios
@PlasmaOscillations6 жыл бұрын
The stock vehicle electronics are actually decent out of the box. I went overkill with my mods. In hindsight I'd say keep it stock unless something breaks or you just want more fine tuning. I use mamba max pro esc. There is room for the electronics if you are removing the old stuff.

What type of sand do u use for this track?
@PlasmaOscillations3 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply! This was Florida sand, but I bought many many MANY 50lb bags of Clay powder from a bulk supply art store. The powder would normally be used for pottery, but I mixed it with sand carefully and put about a one-inch layer over the whole track. That was in 2015 though, and throughout the years the heavy Florida rains have pushed the clay powder layer below the surface of sand, so the track is basically sand again nowadays. $1K of clay powder down the drain, but it was fun to build, like a giant art project!

how do u like the lc truggy compared to the mini 8ight truggy?
@PlasmaOscillations7 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply. Had I bought the LC Racing first, I probably never would have bought the Losi. They both have their perks but I just find the stock LC Racing to be so fun to drive. I turned the Losi into a tank by modifying it so much. Honestly they are both fun so it's hard to say.

@@williamperri3437 I only recently broke a diff in the LC on 2S but I attribute it to poor driving in that session.
@PlasmaOscillations4 жыл бұрын
@@williamperri3437 come to think of it I did run a 3s in it and I think that's when the diff gear actually was reduced. It wasn't until I later ran it with 2s that it fully broke I believe. I no longer run 3s because it just isn't necessary on my track

Yeah, the track was very dry in this video too. Its now 2018 and most of the clay surface has been taken away by rains so it is even more loose than it used to be, but still fun. I'll post a new video soon.
