In "Sound of Music", a nun tutors the "captain's children", and shows what a nun truly does scripturally, nothing or "nun". Nuns cloister themselves in convents, while TRUE Christians does as Jesus told his eleven faithful apostles: "Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father (God, whose name is Jehovah, see Isa 12:2; 26:4, KJV, and the name Jehovah is not found even once in the Catholic Douay Version, though it is in the Bible some 7,000 times as YHWH) and of the Son (Jesus Christ, who is NOT part of "the Holy Trinity") and of the holy spirit (Jehovah's active force, that also is NOT part of "the Holy Trinity", and that he uses to create with, see Ps 104:30), teaching them (by means of home Bible studies) to observe all the things I have commanded you."(Matt 28:19, 20) Here is an experience of a once young woman who lived in the Middle East and became a nun and says in her own words: "I was raised in a very religious Catholic Maronite family. We children were trained to pray every evening before statues, and from childhood I had the desire to serve God." "At the age of 17, I entered a convent to become a nun, thinking that this would be a way to satisfy my desire. However, I saw many things among the nuns that troubled me. They gossiped about one another. Students were not given enough to eat, while the nuns enjoyed the best of food. And there were immoral practices between the nuns and the priest. Bitterly disappointed, I left the convent after nine months and went back home." “I still had a lot of unanswered questions, and when I could not find satisfying answers to them, I got to the point of not caring about religion. Then, in 1982, when I was 22, my fleshly brother and sister studied the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses." "My parents and I opposed them. My brother suffered a lot of persecution, beatings, and imprisonment because of his new faith. What impressed me, though, were the great changes that he made in his life. Moreover, he gave logical Bible answers to the questions that I had been asking for a long time." The Catholic church does NOT satisfy a person's spiritual needs, as Jesus said at Matthew 5:3: "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the Kingdom of the heavens belongs to them."(New World Translation) The Catholic Douay Version reads of Matthew 5:3: "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven", which is NOT an accurate rendering, as if saying that if a person is "poor in spirit" or kind of fatigued or depressed, that it is only then that "the kingdom of heaven" is available to them.
