What's the exact use of it if we can't show customized messages Like, the segments can actually show the level of my overhead tank or if I send a message via home assistant, then it should show it on the display

i2c is certainly easier - but thank you @kian.smarthome for this tutorial - my LCD1602 doesn't have the i2c daughter board
