My sister lost her boyfriend a bit over a month ago. They had been together for so long I had considered him a brother. She's still devastated and so am I. One memory that I will always cherish is the way we both wilded out to All My Friends at my wedding. That song, along with Someone Great, was already bittersweet without the personal attachment. Just heard LCD playing live at Glastonbury 2024 for the first time ever. Song...All my friends (via tv). The entire audience oozed passion, rhythm and excitement, bouncing up and down to every beat of this tune. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Absolutely amazing, every hair on my body was stimulated. I literally had to repeat the song 5 times. One of the best bands playing live at a music event that I have ever listened to. It's up there with the best. If this track doesn't get you upbeat and excited about music, then I'm afraid listening to music just simply isn't your forte.

I saw LCD Soundsystem in Detroit, Michigan during this tour. I was a new fan, and really only found out about them because of headlines announcing their return after their "final" tour years earlier. I listened to their new album and really liked it, so I decided to get tickets to the show. Hands down one of the most FUN concerts I've ever been to. I've never seen a band create so much energy and excitement in the crowd. The entire place was on their feet dancing from the very first song and it was like one big party. Everyone was smiling, clapping, and dancing. I hope I'll see them in concert again someday.

Why do people justify their age like "I'm in my 40's and I still...." ? As if music isn't universal.
@fanvcritic Жыл бұрын
Cause we live in a world of ownership and appeasement. Everything should be universal, but everyone feels the need to claim things as their own and feel accepted in THEIR way instead of just accepting everyone and everything as a shared experience. It’s one of the reason why James Murphy wanted to stop, he didn’t feel like he could continue in a world that didn’t understand this concept. But Bowie was the one that reminded him that music is universal, and if you love it then what does it matter what anyone else thinks or takes from it?
