Great presentation of the material. I am just being introduced to control systems and have recommended your channel to my professor. Keep up the good work!

Aleikumu Selam, This is Outstanding explanation as well your organization structure of your videos. I was lost trying to figure how to get free body diagram, and which direction forces are directed. I was staring the whole day at same problem, and run accross your video. God bless you and your work. You have another subscriber, for sure.

Sir , How to decide the direction of force due to inertia [ ma ] in the FBD ?
@MAFarooqi2 жыл бұрын
The direction of force due to inertia is always opposite to the direction of displacement.

what the diffrnt between x1(s)/f(s) and x2(s)/f(s)? normally we find x1(s)/f(s)..so why some video i see they find x2(s)/f(s)
@MAFarooqi2 жыл бұрын
Transfer function is a relation between input and output. And the output is a system variable in which you are more interested. If the variable of interest is x1, then you would like to find the transfer function X1(s)/F(s), and if you are more interested in variable x2, you would like to find the transfer function X2(s)/F(s).

Why do we neglect gravity in modelling
@MAFarooqi3 жыл бұрын
We are interested in modeling horizontal displacement of the system, and we know that only horizontal forces can produce horizontal displacements. Therefore, we have not talked about gravitational force. Furthermore, in vertical direction, there are two forces acting on masses, the gravitational force in downward direction and a force exerted by fixed structure in upward direction. Both forces are equal and opposite, and therefore, there is no vertical displacement in the masses.
