I love the journey of NA toplaners. Hauntzer, Licorice, Fudge, all super hyped up only to fall off the map after a few splits. Then there's Impact, just quietly being the best and most consistent all around player in LCS history.

C9 is just the ego team now. Blaber and Fudge just randomly grew misplaced egos over time by shitting on awful teams for a couple of years and they went and picked up jojo and vulcan two players with the most inflated egos in NA. You'd think getting shit on twice a year at internationals would be enough of a reality check for these guys not to get inflated egos and grow complacent but somehow no. Low key APA is mvp because his shit talk is wounding the egos of all these players and they're not even professional enough to just mute and focus.

really looks like a case of they were so strong and the competition was so nonexistent for a while that they all grew egos and started thinking they could win with anything and then they lost their entire sense of how to play cleanly and win and when the competition got a little tougher they're getting shit on.

Zven was also the primary shot caller and he's gone. Vulcan isn't that much of an upgrade individually at this point in time. Berserker looked waaaaay better playing with Zven than Vulcan. And with how frustrated we know Berserker is, and how much of a grinder Zven is, it makes sense that Berserker played so much better, he probably respects Zven 100x more than Vulcan.
