I remember hearing this song on the radio in 1988. I fell in love with it upon my first hearing. Rhonda Clark's vocal range, emotional depth and soul does the song justice. For years I've thought of the song, and had no idea how to track it down. Thanks for posting it. Brings back memories. Sweet, subtle, confident, state of sulty nights in the city. So many stars heavy with sky. So many skies heavy with stars.

Yes this was the jam and the CD was a HIT and yes i hear Lisa Keith she was a good Bground vocalist on a lot of Jam & Lewis cuts. Rhonda Clark was so underrated. I have both of her CD's

Rhonda and I grew up together in Flint MI. I was the best dancer until she came lol. We hooked back up when she was visiting my MOMMIE. I love her more now than I did back in the day. (70S).
