Cool. I will also be 62 in a little over 18 years as well. This is the 1st time I've heard them. They sound pretty good actually, yh. It sounds a lot like Can's Future Days album, which I discovered 20 years ago, when you discovered these. You should hear that song and band if you've not done. Blatantly a major influence on the music. No other band is quite as good as Can are it seems. They different.

I forgot all about this masterpiece! It was the best album that ever appeared on the Barnes & Noble playlist of music I could select from while working in the music/movie section. Rehearing the first track sounds just as good as it did back then. It was a rough time for me in my life and while it kind of makes me feel sad again, it reminds me of how nothing ever stays the same. The horns at the end take me to another universe.

I have to say, I too am hooked on theses fellas vibe. I'm new to Thievery Corp but that does not stop me from buying their vinyl. They have alot of music that's embedded in my mind , such as 33 degrees, blowing through the city (bad ass track) Ameritaka and many more, The woman who sings in French or German my God man, she can sing to me any day, any night.!! That's being real. I dont know her but I love her? Lol..... She puts that French twist on the song and shes got me... I'm seriously trying my damndest to coordinate my vac time with them playing up in Utah in Aug I think? I have got to see theses guys live!!! All I do is work...work..work... and its time now to feel the vibe. I'm looking for a big ass show with Thievery Corp? If I get fired for extra circulars then damn it, that show better be worth it? ..... I'm trying to get out there believe me.

@@andya857 I'm being straight and honest ok!!!! Your no child....... You mean to tell me you dont know where or how to go about purchasing vinyl ? My God Man!! At this day and age? It's no secret, that's for sure. However, you must do the homework and figure this one out? I can not just reveal what's taken me years to find myself. Ok!!! Ok!!!! Try Amazon or ebay? Thsts all you get from me!! They are not my major sources but have some titles. Good luck..
