@@Biochemistrybasics but increase in LDL receptors leads to more uptake of cholestrol into the cell(extrahepatic cells) , so doesn't that reduces cholestrol in plasma leading to hypocholestrolemia

@@fayaazmohammed7823 Yes true. My answer was related to Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) which is an inherited disorder that causes high levels of LDLs to be present in the body and is a disorder that is often caused by a mutated LDL receptor gene
