Mk4 were still the most comfy rides out of all the Golfs, and I still miss mine. Those smooth Nappa Recaros were the business. I had MK1, MK2, MK4 and Mk5 Gti's in my lifetime. Now drive an old, but well cared for 2001 Polo Playa with a 2E stock. My MK4 GTI was also a white beauty like the one in the showroom. Damn, got the MK4 blues now. Facebook marketplace here we come.

Mk4 GTI pricing has gotten out of hand lately. I've been looking for one for no good reason for a while. Haha. Thought about getting one as a track car because I really enjoy the way the wagon feels in the bends. If we had 1.8T wagons I would be all about that for a track car 🤣 Anyways, mk4s are awesome and the interior holds up over time very well. Especially compared to the Mk5.
