Clean your tip ! Alway heat your component first, before adding Solder ! Many times using a tiny amount of Flux is advisable ! Hope this helps ? 🫲🥴🫴

@@hsperfection7606 Hopefully that will limit your creating cold solder joints ! I will typically push my hot soldering iron tip, into a container of Flux, then quickly wipe it with a wet rag, or paper towel ! Careful not to burn your fingers, as it's easy to do ! Then apply a coat of solder to the entire tip ! Knock off any excess, then begin your soldering ! Not trying to be a know it all ! Just want you to have successful projects ! Good luck ! 👍😉
