My wife has decided to leave the church and it's caused a lot of problems. We don't even know if we can stay together now, even though we love each other deeply. This talk has been the perfect calming tonic for my emotions right now, and it is filled with wisdom. Thank you president Uchtdorf.

Thank you for the inspiring and reaffirmations of Christ's pure LOVE. This is a great reminder that human nature is malleable and often conditioned to project fear instead of love. When people are misguided by fear, their words and actions do not align. For their faith is unsteady & shaky bc only when yr in tuned to the Spirit, can you sense their their helplessness. Call it intuition and divine nature but it is how compassion for another is nurtured. Being one with your calling is magnanimous and light.

I know I’m several years after this talk was given. But last night I had a very profound experience that taught me this on a deeper level than Iv ever known. First off, these last several months my mind has been opened up and I’ve been going through the biggest spiritual awakening of my life. With that, the veil has become very thin, and just last night it was so thin I felt like I was about to completely break through. Long story, short, every night before I read, I cast out all evil spirits and invite the good ones. Only this time, my home was filled with at least 50 spirits, who were all my ancestors and family. I could see them and talk to them in my mind.. sounds crazy, I know. But the best part was that I saw my old dog, jag, who died several years ago. I saw him walking down the hallway and in my mind called him to me. His spirit immediately ran towards me and stopped and sat at my feet. I bent down to pet him (physical body petting a spiritual one) And the moment that we connected I felt a love that was deeper than anything I’ve ever known... that love literally cast out all my fears. (Background story, with my ability to see spirits, I also see dark and evil ones. They sometimes come out of nowhere and surprise me which freaks me out quite a bit. But with that love that I felt from my dear old jag, all of that fear was completely gone. No amount of evil spirits, doing the worst and scariest they could do, could ever scare me and make me fear.. so, yes, indeed, “real love, casteth out all fear.” These words have never rang more true to me in my life
@julianabradford70812 жыл бұрын
I know EXACTLY what you are saying. I experience the same thing. It’s absolutely beautiful. Everyone has spiritual gifts. You’re not crazy at all. I’ve had MANY similar experiences since I was a child and even now. I believe one of the reasons we have this gift, is for family history :)

What a blessing to have to bounces on such a heart uplifting and spiritual uplifting message! When I thought of all dark and gloomy world and perilous time's we live in,then to hear a servant of the Lord outright saying it's wonderful to have lived in these time's of abundance of technology and being able to manoeuvre in these time's. He not only is blessed but would not exchange his life now for any other time.Really fear blind's us to appreciate what God has put before us.Greatest talk of all time's for my fright of these testing time's. I'm humbled elder Uchtdorf.

President Uchtdorf adds to the Church Leadership a different perspective...being European, possess an education and background that when filtered through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, adds a wealth of knowledge to the church. His superior wisdom is needed for the work of the First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve. And he is doing his work in the most awesome manner.

Any of you that are strong LDS have you ever felt the presense of the Heavenly Father inside your body and know that its him bc of the beautiful feeling of Heaven it gives you? Does any of you know what I'm talking about? I'm trying to find other LDS members that have this gift of feeling such beautiful wonderful things inside their body bc it is the Heavenly Fathers presense. You know it is the Father bc of how strong it is and the way it feels like Heaven.

3:17-3:32 I wish it wasn't true. Although they are fun and important to us. But as much as they are there for us, many times it can be a death trap for us walking in the road to being with Christ. The habits we have in our lives with those resources, the addictions we can potentially get (which is what I've been affected by the most for almost 17 years, and I bet most of you are still getting affected by this to this day) is what can get in our way and that is why it is so important to pray to Heavenly Father for help and to study scripturesto find answers to compare what issues we have, and see if we have enough strength and faith to overcome them. That line from him caught my attention so much to me. And no lie, it was funny lol. But to me personally, it did shock me with little down feeling. It is so true on what's going on to society in this planet Earth.
