Self respect is lacking because our society has forgotten that which is honorable. Fame through likes has become the new sought out validation, which when speaking of dignity is greatly lacking, empty, and brings about a false sense of dignity. Self respect is earned, and felt as we pay the price of dignity through our honorable conduct, our work and our capacity to achieve as we press forward in righteousness.
