The fact that the amethyst cluster grew conviniantly on the way down to the amethyst is got to be the funniest thing to possibly die from but the most out of pocket cause for Mogswamp to become Lizzie's sworn enemy.

Definitely accidental. He accidentally left a budding amethyst block exposed and a crystal grew there. No one would be actively trying to kill others this early in the series, and Mog just wouldn’t do that… yet@@thedud3019

You probably realise this but are just going with the sworn enemy thing for lore or something, but I highly doubt anyone would be actively trying to kill others this early in the series. It looks like it was just an oversight on Mog’s part that he left an exposed budding amethyst block in the drop, so a crystal grew in the way of the hole
