I really appreciate your style of reviews and your channel, very informative and no bs approach (discovered it recently) but...i dont know man, overkill nails it, the perfect amount..don't know about that though. Yeah, sure i dont want to spend 1500-2000 euros on just 1 wheel, i could get 3-4 from moza and none of the simracing reviewers cant tell me that this is actually 3-4 times better than a 500euro moza wheel for example. Really nice and detailed review man, i honestly am so glad i discovered your channel. GG

I'm putting money aside every week for a Hyper P1 from GSI. Also I'm thinking about getting a Formula wheel from them. Their wheels are so expensive, but after seeing the feedback from their customers vs how I feel about my current Cube Controls wheels I'm 99.999% certain they will stand the test of time while my Cube Controls wheels won't.

@@LaurenceDusoswa Firstly, their stickers don't seem very premium. Not something you want in a wheel that cost over $1500 AUD. As a result they fall off after at most 6 months of use. Secondly. I've had to superglue my F-Pro both the grips back on as they started peeling around where the top of the grip connects to the wheel's carbon fibre and aluminium frame. Their wheels are not quite as expensive as GSI's. But they are close enough in price I expect them to be able to hold up to use as well as people tell me the GSI wheels hold up.

I got the opportunity to try out a GSI D shaped rim in EA WRC. Surprisingly easy to stay on point as long as ur not going hand over hand. Id like to have something this fancy one day

Laurence, your reviews are amazing and timing superb! I swear I thought of and would have included this wheel when I responded earlier listing next review items but never thought this would be considered due to age, not on list, and other reasons. I've heard GSI software/programming is a bit more complicated than others. Any thoughts?

Simhub is not as intuitive for changing a button colour or whatever. So I used mainly the default colours. Tis is a great wheel. I’m really enjoying it

Never really thought of a D shaped wheel as a rally wheel.

Yep. In most modern rally cars you have reduced rotation and single grip so this is more than suited to rally.

If this was round I would have bought one! Love the controls and central part, but the mix of leather and carbon around the wheel, and the bumpy D-shape are just not usable for drifting or rallying in my opinion.

Yep. Definitely not suitable for drifting. And it’s only suitable for modern rally cars.
