Le Butcherettes from At The Drive In’s opening slot in every single one of their reunion tours taking a spot from 1-3 up and coming bands, to signing to At The Drive In’s label, more then likely taking the type of budget that could have help 1-3 new bands thrive. Sounds about right.

Besides opening for ATDI (or whatever band ORL is touring with at the moment), is kind of a given at this point. Wherever he goes, Le Butcherettes go. Just accept it and move on.

Oreo Emesis see the issue is they aren’t thriving, At The Drive In’s fanbase isn’t the same as LB’s. They are attempting to force them on their fans, which is cute but pointless because of the three times I’ve seen ATDI the last two years, no one cares about the band with the strange female vocalist that comes on first (AND ONLY). People would kill for a At The Drive In/Glassjaw and one or two supporting up and comers. I think honestly the worst part of ATDIs reunion at this point is that they don’t build a good pre show, and their new album wasn’t that great but I digress. LB could sign to Rise it’s actually a good fit for them because Rise has Placibo which would be closer to their own fan base. Then they can hit the road with Muse/Metric style bands and ACTUALLY be excepted in their live performances.
