I think the point d3sired is trying to make is that he was there for the performance. The Mars Volta would never play live on that show -- for a number of reasons -- nor would they need to in order to gain exposure like Le Butcherettes. Cedric didn't need Omar, because The Mars Volta wasn't playing. Teri did, because her band was and he's the bass player.
