Nice flying very smooth transitions from inverted to upright flight! I love hanging on the prop "trying" to do rolling circles in a post stalled condition or high Alfa attitude. Did that tap on the ground do any damage? The wings seem to be very flexible. That looked like really fun flying! I have a 60" warmliner that I fly in a similar way and it's really fun to fly. Although it's powered. ✌️😎👍

Ha ha yes I thought I got away with no damage but later in it's life that "impact" came to show lol. I put a spar in, re-balanced it left to right and it's fine but repaired. you can't get this Le Fish version anymore but there's a better plane out anyway; Called the AHI, it's not cheap but not to bad either and is even more crashable lol. I Can't wait until I hear you say " I tried slope soaring". Dude Elephant Mountain!!!!! I miss it sooo much!

@@robertshaver4432 It looked like it might of broke something. Bummer! That AHI sounds like the hot ticket. I would love to tell you that and hope I can make it happen! I already know I will love it! Typically do you fly slope with a plane that's favors being nose heavy? Almost everything I fly except for gliders are tail heavy and even my gliders I push it back as far as I can to keep them floaty and slow. Thanks buddy hope you have a great weekend, God bless and happy RC'ing!

@@mikesrcgarage I push my CGs back as far as possible and then just slightly forward of that to gain back just some penetration.

+OutdoorAwesomeness Man!!! that's three, Extra 260 fixable whew, tore a leg off my X-wing, engine out landing in the gopher hole run-off area; fixed whew and now Le Fish... Dang man tough week lol. Le Fish is repaired but not "fixed"; permanent wounds but still flying well. Thanks for the reply, see you soon at the field???

+Robert Shaver Haha. Good thing they were all fixable! Ya, i should be at the field soon. I had to put in a new starter on my R/C car, it wasnt the glow plug. haha.

In a way, all planes are actually, swimming through the air? This one, actually is! 😁. Like a fish....😉
@robertshaver44322 жыл бұрын
Ha ha you are correct airplanes basically swim in an ocean of air. The difference being that air is compressible so kind of the same. A flying fish? lol

Does that have, wingerons?
@robertshaver44322 жыл бұрын
Yes Flaperons coupled with Elevator. It's a very soft coupling so I call it Camberons because they don't move much as compared to the elevator so they really just adjust the wings camber. It makes a huge difference especially for inverted because the airfoil is a lifting airfoil. That's why it does so well inverted. I plan on doing the same thing for the Freedom Sailplane.

@@robertshaver4432 I have a donation to your channel!? LoL , I don't think I'll live long enough to build all of my planes, 😉. I have a new Lazer cut short kit, sagitta 900 ,. I'd like to donate to you.. for all of your cool videos!! Give me a cool , Po box, or place to send it, and I will 😉... Can you build camberon, in that one?
@robertshaver44322 жыл бұрын
@@thermalascension OMG! I'd love to have a Sagitta 900. I used to use opposite aileron with held rudder once banked to plant the lower wings' polyhedral on the flat and do a pivot turn on it. That was before all this 2.4 gig radio mixing was available so yes I think camberons it's worth trying on a polyhedral ship (it'd be interesting for sure) How can I ever thank you? ""I'll buy it!"" If the cost of mailing it is prohibitive, we'll work something else out, we're only 2 1/2 hours away let me know! Damn I feel guilty, if you change your mind I'll understand!
