Such a great performance. However, it's so tiring watching videos of classical musicians where the editors think they need to cut to a million different angles. Put the camera in front of the musicians in one shot and leave it alone! I want to watch her play gamba, not see shots of the sheet music.

Played with much nuance. Wonderful tone. Harpsichord was a bit in the background. Three solutions. Study ancient paintings for alternate staging. Ancient venues. Ancient harpsichords, which may produce a richer sound that fills the space. The last solution, might include the other two, because the priceless instruments generally stay in one place.

Many consort players do, but there's virtually no solo repertoire for it. I've known a few to play some of the lyra viol repertoire on tenor.

I hate the use of lowering A to 415 Hz. It is a sort of segregation of a musical niche. It is done purposefully to avoid a 2mixture" of different music in the same gatherings. Otherwise, I like this music very much.
