Great review Mr P. Iris 39 is NOT discontinued. It’s become a store exclusive, at least here in the US, the sales rep confirmed that it is not on the website but they will compound only in store. Same story for the Oud 27.

I really like some le labo scents (ylang, iris 39, another 13, lys 41) but i never find them worth the price. They tend to fall flat on my skin and smell a bit generic. A bit uninspired and sterile. ‘Distant’. Not transportive. Which is subjective yes, but it just feels like an ‘expensive equals good’ moment to me. But maybe i just prefer what is considered ‘old lady’ perfume and le labo has the opposite of that I do enjoy the whole personalized bottle concept though. Still, 300+ for anything uninteresting feels wrong. Id rather buy 9 bottles of iris poudre than any le labo

Iris 39 was discontinued over a year ago now, I got excited hearing that is was in that sample box and thought it might be back (it’s not), so guessing that the set is not a recent purchased one?
