I smelled it in New York last month. I walked into the store and thought "Damn, something in here smells really good." Of course It's Le Labo, but I sprayed this and it was exactly what I was smelling. I was blown away and sprayed some on. I even went back to the store the next day to spray some on as well. I have never tried matcha before, but this reminded me of another tea fragrance from Creed called Silver Mountain Water. I'm a pretty clean-cut guy and felt like this worked really well for me while still being unique and interesting. Next time I am in the city I am for sure copping a bottle of this.

I was able to get a sample of this scent this weekend, and when I tell you this smell makes my brain tingle like ASMR, it truly does! It's sweet, a little woody, has a linen smell, powdery, and all around complex. It's incredible.

Thé is pronounced “teh” like Canadian “eh” with a T in front. It’s French for tea as in matcha tea… not the word “the”.

Kinda funny, too...because "Matcha" is Japanese for "Ground( Ma) tea (cha)". So the name is "Tea Ground tea:. :P

They do the same with the Indian version (Chai tea) which is basically Tea Tea.
