@Chavways I have done this race yesterday with a friend. The car where we ride it is the Peugeot 908 HDI PAF and every 2 hours drivers change. We had a total of 394 laps but a lot of raining. We have won a total of 1.5 milion credits and the Audi R8 race car.

In GT5 the A-Spec mode is separated from the B-spec mode as it used to be in GT4. There are two 24H Hours of Le Mans races: one for A-Spec only and the other for B-Spec only!

You used to have to, but they added a feature through an update where you can save at the exact moment at anytime by going into the pits, and load it from that point anytime you want.

@granturismofan125 You have to finish all the other races first.When you finish all the A Spec races you unlock the A Spec endurance and its the same with the B Spec.

To answer everyones questions: I was so far ahead in the 368th lap that I decided to stop racing for a while.I think I was 8 laps ahead so there was no need for me to drive. I did the race over 6 days.I took the risk of leaving the ps3 on but it was a brand new Slim so there wasnt much to worry about. An awful race though.So boring and monotonous

It looks you are using level 3 turbo, right? But what about the 3:02 lap -- is it real or it came with some shortcuts? I'm currently at hour 6 with the GT One and best no-cut lap achieved is 3:23. My Toyota is stock (intentionally) and I try to optimize tire wear by not pushing to extreme, but still - 21 secs is a huge diff.

Agreed. The Toyota GT1 was THE car. The moment I got one in GT3 it was all I used to dominate everything. It's a standard car in GT5 correct? I have never come across one. :(

you can also get it new in the b-spec 24 hour race of de la sarthe, thats, if your willing to do the whole thing again with the AI drivers, found that out on the forums page :)

I do know some people who actually did. When you enter the pit you can also click on "suspend race" and that will save the whole race for you so you can pick up where you left off the next day.

@chur32 Have you done this race? Come back to me when you try to race for 24 hours trying to guess where the braking points are.Its much more fun aswell to try to beat the driving line.Trying to beat the lap time that the driving line suggested was one of the reasons I kept racing.

That was an option. You could set it on 24h, but on career the season ends quite fast and at the end of it ull get a le mans event which only takes 24 minutes.

It is time Gran Turismo Le Mans 24 hours did with all specified cars from the B licence to the S licence is that it must be possible to think this way in Forza Motorsport 7 with any car racing the Le Mans track in 24 hours, even in the slowest car of them all.

I've checked it and yes you can! You go to the pitlane and select 'suspend race'. This will quit GT5 so you can play another game or turn off your ps3, and as soon as you reload the game it will go straight back to the race.
