I am not a 100% sure, but i think this could be the year that the Aston DB3s 62 EMU was driven to Sweden for a race at Karlskoga (Kanonloppet) and I remember my father told me that it hade been garaged ower night in our house in the town of Karlskoga. We hade a car body repair shop at our house and my father owned and sometimes worked on Aston Martins so that´s probably why it stayed there. Cheers from Sweden! Thank´s for the upload by the way!

I just cannot believe my luck in discovering your channel and these films. Having just finished Duncan Hamiltons autobiography and previously read Michael Cannell's The Limit, I feel as if I have been taken back in time to a world I love and am fascinated by. I'm a huge endurance racing fan, and love old F1. Not the current stuff. I had no idea such film existed. Thank you.

To answer his last question. In the next 10 years, 5 Americans would win Lemans. Phill Hill('58), Carroll Shelby('59), Masten Gregory('65), Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt('67). Should've been Lloyd Ruby in '66, but that wasn't his or co-driver Ken Mile's fault. Miles could've counted as an American too seeing how he was an American Citizen.

Unfortunately Aston only won once in this era. 1958 in a DBR1 with Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby.

Le Mans has always been overrated to me, its not a hard track, pissing down mostly, its all a bit meh. Today?, LMAO at the cheated up junk that heads it, ugly as sin and controlled by electronics . Super vid though, thanks
