Love the game. Went back for a short run in iRacing today and thought the FFB was broken its so dead compared to LMU.

I had the same issue with iRacing, made a new custom ffb set just to make sure and it didn't help. love the natural feeling this game has through the wheel.

I hate the fact that iracing is so popular still despite being a pay sub like world of Warcraft. That type of pay model has no business being in a sim racing title….

@@jonneymendoza I can totally accept the monthly fee, they provide a service that cost a lot of money for them. And there is no other sim that has that amount of servers running all the time. But when you have a monthly fee you can't charge full price for tracks and cars on top of that. Either lower or remove the price for cars/tracks or lower the monthly fee. Both is too much.

One thing I would recommend is installing Tinypedal for Rfactor 2. Comes with a radar like ACC. Game changer for those wheel to wheel battles. Agree on the sim. Absolutely loving the racing, just need those crashes & annoying bugs squashed. Once they add 2024 WEC cars & taxis, plus driver swaps, this will be THE sim!

You have to run the game in Windowed or Borderless for TinyPedal to work. And if I do this, I have strange stutters, even though my FPS is maxed out at 144. Weird feeling. And if I don't run Fullscreen, then my UI is unresponsive. They have to fix that.

Its just phenomenal. I realy love LMU. It has its tecnical flaws but the driving pleasure is unbeatable. Feels so good, so natural.

it has a lovely feel to the driving even with AI . i never was interested in driving Bahrain ... and i tried it in LMU and love it ... day to night racing and with rain pretty epic! its nice to see you genuinely enjoying the game.

This sim is great fun. Except today it tried to break my wrists twice during practice sessions before the dailies. From time to time there is a *HUGE* FFB hickup that smashes the wheel around like crazy. Good thing I do have an e-stop wired to my VRS DFP and finally it gets used. 😛

So far for me it's maybe 1 in 10 sessions will have the wheel crash death spin. Not fun to have to smash the stop haha

Awesome game. Looks even better with nvidia beta app and enable rtx hdr and using nvidia colors. Racing is insane when you can stay out of trouble after first lap.

I had the same game crash in the practice server and actually hurt my finger a bit with that. Dangerous stuff 😅 Apart from that, I am it playing anything else atm

The Bahrain International Circuit and the Dubai Autodrome are the best tracks in the whole of the middle east. It's criminal that WEC isn't going to Dubai. Abu Dhabi is paying millions to be the exclusive UAE stopover for Formula 1 but WEC has no excuse not to go to Dubai. :)

@Jardier you're costing me money, man. First, I've been an iRacing subscriber since 2008 -- and almost never have driven it because of the historically unrecoverable spin-outs (and the pricing model). But after Nurburgring in the rain, I actually bought a month, a Ferrari 296Gt3 and Nordschleife. The rain is definitely awesome though not as hard as I THOUGHT it would be. Meanwhile, after spending some time in various cars in iRacing, I can see that yes, if you push a car over the limit, you are most likely not going to be able to catch it. ANNOYING. And the drivers ? Dive bombing , spinning, etc. Ouch. Makes me remember why I didn't stick with iRacing. So, back to LMU thanks to THIS video! You're killing me, man!

FFB and tyre model are the areas iRacing still needs work in. The rain implementation is fantastic, but it doesn't matter if the driving experience in general is lacking.

I think the driving is really enjoyable and in regard to that is the best sim as of today. So many things working nicely in the driving. I hope they fix the many bugs.

Can't wait to see what the first main patch brings. Bugs aside, the things I dislike the most are the voices. Specifically the one that plays when booting up the game, and also the weird computerised voice reading the lap times. I don't know of a single sim with realistically calm and casual sounding race engineer lap time readings.

Best sim at the moment. FFB, braking feel amazing - RF3 gud. Graphics are amazing especially for this detail in the ffb etc. Proper online system with dailies and good ranking system with unsurprisingly lots of active players. Only issue is the game crashes etc. they should slap a massive ‘early access’ sticker on the home page so people know. Once fixed and driver swap races etc. gonna be as good as if not better than iRenting and won’t cost £1000.

Does anyone have a ffb setup for fanatec? Ive given up on trying to get this thing to feel right. Giand dead spot in the middle, wheel going completely ffb dead after about 200⁰ of turning rotation. I need help badly.
