Like many idols, Sakura may not be fluent but she’s the most natural-sounding non-fluent English speaker I’ve seen. She can express humour even through a language she doesn’t 100% speak, when most non-fluent speakers (including me) would be uptight and robotic because of the discomfort of speaking a foreign language, which is what I see in many idols too. Which is fine and normal because who feels comfortable speaking a language you never really speak on a daily basis? But Sakura just goes above and beyond, she knows what to say or how to react. I feel like she’s really born to be in the idol industry.
