Although I fully get what you say of doing moves from the voguing or ballroom culture BUT I can also see people going after them for using the culture as well… now if they would have hired people from the ballroom scene to dance in the video then that would have been amazing!!

@@fifizappareacts true… Irene and seulgi come to mind but this song can be used in the ballroom scene because it has that vibe, while naughty is more house… it’s just a thin line so in a way I understand why they didn’t go too into it… but I fully agree that I would love some duck walks, voguing, some dips to this song.

I like that track more, too. But I have to admit that Unforgiven is better suited for title track, it's just composed that way, it would be too weak otherwise. Unforgivene carries the main message of the album, and jersey-house title track is something we can't even expect out of Lesserafim. Maybe we get this from someone like Newjeans, I'm waiting for their summer album.

Before the choreo came out, I envisioned the exact first dance they were doing, but a little more relaxed, because it is a “Jersey” beat. I totally feel you on the vogueing/tutting thing though. I cannot deny that it was giving boots the house down.

Agreed about the choreo. Besides Sakura's "boom boom boom" part where they do the lil jump and the part in the bridge where they line up, it really wasn't what I was wanting/expecting. I was hoping for some more voguing and tutting as the song SCREAMS that type of vibe. Still my favourite Le Sserafim song til date.

I feel the EXACT same way. I was somewhat disappointed with the choreo. Was it excellent as is? Yes, it was a fabulous MV and song and choreo. Could it have afforded to have about 50% more vogue and tutting elements in the choreo to fit the song? Also yes, imho. Edit: the move you're referring to is colloquially referred to as the "duck walk" but it may have a more formal name in the ballroom scene that I am unaware of.

I wasn't disappointed. They clearly had an idea of what they wanted the concept to be. The song is about going against what's expected of women so they intentionally gave the choreo a hiphop vibe and boyish clothing. There's also multiple teams with different ideas working on the project, so sometimes the finished product will have more than one feel to it. This also isn't a title track so this wasn't their main priority when preparing for the comeback, I'm surprised they even gave it a music video.

I feel like a reason they might’ve not used a lot of vogueing/tutting/ballroom elements in the choreo was because maybe some or all of the members weren’t comfortable or had enough time to do it right. Choreo like that is something you want to do absolutely right and this was an MV made quickly after the cb by popular demand, so it might’ve been tough to prepare something that complex in such little time! I hope they do it in the future thi

The reason this song wasn’t a single or promotional single is it was never even intended due to the obvious message. Their other songs are vague with the meaning. This song isn’t. This song is about the taboo of sex

However Eve, Psyche and The Bluebeard’s wife is about sex. There’s no way to get around it unless you’re blissfully ignorant. They won’t hide their sexual nature is basically the meaning of the story. They make this clear from the get go this is about sex with the other members grinding on Eunchae and they make it clear boom boom boom is about sex itself when you have Kazuha listening in on one room and then it cuts to them going boom boom boom. The girls want to have fun can also refer to saying girls like sex too. The chain is about falling in line with the pinky finger as part of the chain link. Sakura breaks the chain and at the end wants to form another chain where they won’t hide who they are thus why she sticks out her pinky finger while touching the painting where the words in the background says “I won’t hide myself”

I'm a little disappointed in this era because I don't think they're committing hard enough in their concepts. The music, choreo, and mvs have seemed a little empty to me. Like they could all punch a little harder and have more impact if they fully committed to more bombastic elements. They feel like they're always a step away from doing something really unique and memorable.
