i think what i loved about this song is that it showcased all of their vocals. this is what some kpop companies should look to when doing songs with no raps. some songs really just do NOT need raps and this is an excellent showcase of why it's so good to sometimes leave raps out of kpop songs.

They are both Hybe and I tell you what, Hybe threw LS a bone with this song. This should have went to NEWJEANS, it was CLEARLY written for them. The only other issue is the MV itself with their outfits is eerily like a NEWJEANS video would be which makes me wonder why they would want to emulate NEWJEANS. I have watched other LS MV's and they are always very glamorous and mature and there is a ton of production to their videos. This was more bubblegum upbeat like you said pinkpantress or even Piri and Tommy sounding like in Supershy or even newjeans son. The fix is in folks...lol

@@Mudflat_Man this is kinda hilarious bc i think they’ve been picking out the flavors of the song from their bsides esp like sour grapes and impurities + burn the bridge and the first two came out before newjeans debut.. also keeping in mind the foundation of newjeans was developed within source music first before min heejin decided to separate and have ador as a completely separate label **yunjin and *hanni were trainees together before as another fun fact

Honestly the majority of newjeans songs that sound like this are literal clones of pinkpantheress and pinkpantheress is just a clone of Y2K sounds. There’s similarities as the genre is the same but I wouldn’t call it a clone… there is definitely differences and things that separate it.
