the scene of Yunjin crying reminds me at La Madonna della Pietà and I also believe the gold tear is a reference to kintsugi and their past album. also maybe the eye is a reference to the angel seraphim itself, they are describe to have eyes too lol idk

Not sure what the growing vines mean just yet but maybe it means that they want to be immortalised in stone (like how vines grow over statues) or part of something bigger (become part of the church they’re standing on). Could also represent the creeping nature of haters sticking to them wherever they go but Le Sserafim are unphased and make it look effortless

Yesss thank you for this!! I felt the same! Like there were so many references that I just didn't get. I would say that Yunjin with the gold tears made me think of Freyja, a Norse goddess and witch who also cried gold tears. But that was literally the only thing I could catch 😅

I was really looking forward to this.

I feel like most of their individual scenes can be boiled down to one thing: they can’t be stopped. 1. Yunjin is a god (bleeds ichor) 2. Eunchae is unphased by her injuries from the rose thorns and drop from her swing 3. Chaewon survives the electrocution in the bathtub 4. Sakura is an immortal vampire 5. Kazuha (idk yet but something to do with the rose - beauty and the beast, little prince, love me love me not?)

I would like to share my interpretation of some lyrics: 1. at first it seemed to me that “kiss me” sounded out of place and this made me draw special attention to it and... what if this is like a reference to Judas Kiss (considering how there are a lot of references to Christianity in this cb) The girls seem to say with this lyrics: "come on, keep hating me, keep writing these vile things about me for the sake of likes and comments, for the sake of attention to your person (just like Judas sold his loyalty to Jesus for money) give me to these people to be torn to pieces" 2. “To the world, I'm half sseraphim” - seraphim are known as the angels closest to God, so this may mean that people mistakenly consider them the “chosen ones”, “darlings of fate”, those who get everything on a silver platter, who always lucky, practically “kissed by God”

Ooh totally agree with your interpretations here! I’m less familiar with the story with Judas but I really like your explanation here, I really do think it could be that!

The first thing I think of when I see Yunjin’s golden tear is Ichor. In Greek mythology ichor is the blood of the gods. Le Sserafim is reminding us that even gods bleed Edit: also that entire scene very much reminds me of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo is crying over Juliet’s death in the cathedral right before he takes the poison but Juliet isn’t dead because she’s bleeding gold meaning she’s a god and is immortal.

Ik you were referring to Eunchaes newly dyed purple hair but the last dance shot at 4:36 and 10:01, it's actually Kazuha :D

My brain saw purple from one scene to the other and assumed it was still Eunchae 😂 my bad!!

@@LainaSunflower took me a while to get it as well lol But then I watched the choreo version to confirm it
