You are right - Lea is the singing voice of 2 Disney Princesses (Jasmine and Mulan). She has also sung a lot of other Disney songs in various concerts over the years. This video is from the 10th anniversary concert of Les Miserables that took place in London in 1995. Lea was the first non-Caucasian actress to play Eponine on Broadway in 1993 and then she played Eponine in the West End in 1996. Lea is the only actor to be in both the 10th anniversary and 25th anniversary concerts of Les Miserables playing different characters. The pronunciation of the show titl is Lay Miz-er-ah-bluh. (The “s” at the end of the words are silent.) And her name is pronounced LAY-ah Sah-LONG-ah.

i could say lea salonga is the greatest singer of all time but i guess can say shes DEFINITELY the greatest modern classicaly-trained female vocalist of all time

She was in the original cast of the musical called Miss Saigon. Her role was Kim who was the main character. The production team searched for a long time around the world and ended up being found in the Philippines. I think she was around 16 or 17 when she was found to play that role. Her voice is amazing. If anyone likes Musical, they all know Lea because of Miss Saigon and then her singing from Disney.

What a great choice by Bernard. Since Mis Saigon 1990,.Lea has been one of my favorite musical singers. Still, for me, Samantha Barks' version is stronger and full of emotions. But okay Lea can't really do anything wrong for me i love her 🥰😅

Her show has been held once at Queen's Sirikit Conventional Centre in Bangkok 12 years ago.Her voice is very beautiful For this song besides Elaine Paige original version ,Lea is the most I like.
