Yosia Sulistian Her voice is incredible, although I think he made the best choice casting someone younger like Philippa, who could pull off the naïve, “helpless” but still strong character of Eliza. That’s just my opinion, though, Miss Salonga is such a star!

@@jamies9040 Not only her voice tho, but also her emotions. She portrayed Kei Kimura in Allegiance, which is young character. So I think she's still fit for Eliza.

@@YosiaCS Kei Kimura and Eliza Schuyler are different. Kei is young, yes, but she's been through a lot and is a pretty wise and maternal character, hence needing a more mature sounding voice, which is why Lea was perfect. That's the same reason she was good for Fantine and Eponine. Eliza Schuyler is supposedly 19 and really naive, so yeah Eliza needs to be played by a younger sounding actress.
