I can't believe they shipped a 30 year old leachie! I would've been so worried the stress would be too much. It's amazing how old they get, I have a crested gecko who's about 8 and I love him so much, I'm so glad they live for 20+ years! I never really considered that leachies would live upwards of 30 but it does make sense when you think about it I suppose. If you have the time or are planning on it in the future I'd love to see how you keep these guys! I can't imagine the space you need for having so many leachies lol.

What’s crazy is there are some leachies in a couple zoos that are even older than these guys and still producing! I believe those ones are over 40 years old!

Love it I can’t imagine how much they all cost! Personally I have a 5 year female that I love to death and plan to get another but there crazy expensive and I’m in Illinois so my best bet to get 1 is probably tinley show! Can’t wait to see updates on all those leachies!!

Yes they are definitely expensive, I believe a lot of it has to do with them not being easy to pair and breed and they don’t always give you perfect eggs like other geckos too. I am hoping to come to tinley in March! So hopefully I will see you there😄 I also can ship to you if you are looking for a leachie, we produce a good amount each year and have some ready to go currently

Just seen this now. To own those animals, THE animals, is holding herpetological history! The field caught specimens is like owning Paul Newmans daytona rolex, or elvis presley's jacket. It's the holy grail of animals! I live in the UK but if I can find a way to ship, I would love to purchase a baby from those lines! Shipping to US is okay but US to UK is a nightmare in tax:-( I don't mind paying money, i do however mind our lovely govenrment shafting us haha

Hey, thanks for watching! For the sake of time in the video I left them in their containers. I also didn't have another set of hands while filming this video so it was a bit hectic. I do have one last big shipment of leachianus coming when the weather warms up. In that video I will for sure pull them out of the deli cups and hold them :) Good idea!
