If you are into it, they have a brutal, epic, black metal style song - Eternal Darkness (Autumn). It's their darkest song (fits in the conceptual Forest Seasons album) but also one of my favorites. There's an official lyric video. Other than that, the third song from the same rehearsal, Land of Snow and Sorrow, is a must listen as well. Cheers

Thank you for your reaction to one of my favourites! The whole band is highly talented. You might want to muse yourself by watching Kai Hahto drumcam of the Sons of Winter and Stars. If you yourself play in a female fronted power metal band (did I get it right?)you just have to listen to some Battle Beast. They are also from Finland. How about their Black Ninja to begin with? Not their perhaps best song but a good example of their talent. And someone suggested Amorphis. Now they are something else, too. Their songs might sometimes sound simple but they are anything but. One of their not so heavy songs with "not simple" structures is Amongst Stars with the lovely Anneke van Giersbergen as a guest. My favourites are more heavy Death of a King, The Bee and Bad Blood. Their singer has amazing growls and the most velvety clears.

I second Orden Ogan! German power metal, and their music is just excellent, each album is based around a different idea, too. They've done high fantasy, post-apocalyptic winter, undead cowboys, etc... Songs to check out, there's a lot.. 'F.E.V.E.R.', 'The Things We Believe In', 'Land Of The Dead', 'The Ice Kings', 'Gunman', 'Vampire In Ghost Town', 'In The Dawn Of The AI', 'Heart Of The Android'... and many, many others...

@@KarmaHoudini17 I like to define Orden Ogan as the most solid standard band ive ever heard. They dont do anything too crazy progressive as far as song structure is concerned, but they are just so solid. Every song is a banger with good melodies/harmonies, chuggy riffs, and a sing-along chorus that never gets annoying.

I would never listen to death metal (or any other genre, for that matter) just for the sake of it. If it doesn't have a good melody and is boring im not interested.
