2020 was such an iconic year for gfriend they gained a lot of attention for apple and mago (rip crossroads) and improved a lot themselves esp involving music production

Was a fan of them since Rough (have a long break from kpop since 2012 only to get drawn back in 2016 by GFriend). Spent 1 whole week watching their clips from weekly idols (berry good vs GF to 2x dance) and compilation videos. Was totally mesmerized and awed by their hardworks. I realize I was alrdy deeply into the fandom when I actually bawl my eyes out watching a fanmade vid of "GF journey". I fell in love with their hardworks, efforts, and how they never give up in whatever theyre doing, whatever music they release doesnt bother me even though it's may not be my cup of tea because all I want is to see them grow flourishly and I know each songs they release will gonna be a bop anyway (well up till today, I love all their songs).

2020 is the year i got into gfriend fully, a friend of mine introduced me to love whisper in april 2020, though in fact i’ve seen gfriend’s commercials of their shopee live concert on tv and have heard a glimpse of fever but didnt actually look out for them yet. Because of the lockdown i started watching their weekly idol episodes, then slowly look for their other variety shows, from idol room to idol league, they’re funny and exceptionally good, even made me a bit sceptical of new GGs, and i feel sad when they didn’t get award nominations this year :(

I think the reason GFRIEND cried during the online concert was because when they perform they don't see any Buddies infront of them while they are on stage.
