You express yourself with words as well as with painting. You have a gift for noticing the small but important things around you. Well done.

Emily, I have watched a lot of the Uptrek retreat videos and yours is the best testimonial to the leader of the retreat showing the full experience of the place they are leading the retreat. This also shows the depth and insight of you as a person not to mention your artist title. Thank you and can't wait to see where you go next.😊

A beautiful video. It made me think that news headlines and even our history books withhold from us the beauty of the myriad places and people that are on the Earth. All places and people hold beauty and kindness and traveling (or watching videos like this) helps us to open our eyes and appreciate others, their histories and their experiences. While the world is vast, it is made small by the opportunity we have with access to technology which helps us learn and see as valid the lives of others. Ours is not the only way of living nor the better way. There is no room / excuse for discrimination, judgement, hate or fear. We have to choose to see with open hearts and minds and not just with our eyes. ❤

Wow! What a wonderful experience you all had. Thank you for sharing not only what you did, but the feelings and emotions the people of Morocco generated in you that changed the way you see things. I especially loved this video because I was uninformed about Morocco. I'm so glad you had such a beautiful time there.

I learned so much watching this video. Your narration was was so informing…the people, the country, the scenery. …even the goats in the tree😂. I didn’t know much about this country but thru you, I felt a warmth towards the people, their traditions and kindness. The paintings were awesome….maybe something to add to Watercolor Mastery? A trip of a lifetime. Thank you so much for sharing this “priceless “ journey.

Looks like a great experience. Have you ever heard of Lias Trotter? She was a watercolor artist who spent most of her life as a Christian missionary to Algeria in the late 1800s. I thought you might be interested in her beautiful watercolors because they remind me of the scenery in Morocco.

you were lucky. I would never travel to a Muslim country like Morroco alone. My experience there years ago was awful. I am pale skinned and blonde, and the men would NOT leave me alone. kept touching my hair all the time without asking or staring at me constantly I hated it. I was told never go out alone especially as I was Blonde in Tunisa too, as I would most likely be kidnapped or attacked. I was Told by a holiday rep to always have a man with me. My friend had a Turkish massage in the Baths, but came out traumtised as you can guess what happened to her in there. Just not safe.
