I remember laying in bed. Raising my hand up to turn off the light above me. The doctor had told me my disease wouldn’t impact my arms. That unlike my legs, my upper body would stay strong. In that moment I realized he was wrong. F*ck.
I want to talk about working through hard situations, and how to move forward when you have no idea which way forward is. I don’t know if it will inspire you in any way. I can’t say you’ll feel good afterwards. But I can promise you it will be honest.
