I feel like hopelessness ends up contaminating meaning in some strange way. I been an artist since about 92 and although i feel content and blessed at no point have i been able to identify who i am as an artist and i see that due to exactly what you mentioned about life being so transient. Even in my work i struggle to create a static image. Moving forward while our thoughts and actions manifest our lives. Some people see that and some don’t it seems. The imagination Awesome podcast 🌅

I think the challenge is that our culture tends to lead us to identify by what we do instead of who we are. Our value is not what we produce as humans but rather who we are as a human. Instead of asking people "what do you do?"...we should ask "what do you believe?" I don't think we should strive to be a static image and focus on being a human becoming and not a human being. We are continually exploring, experimenting, and evolving... Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
