I have a 2010 Camaro. In my opinion even with a full cat back system they sound like shit until you put long tube headers on and get rid of those dual cats. Just go to single high flow cats and it sounds 100 times better.

EXCELLENT demo video! Thanks for taking the time to go through all that. Kinda of hard to tell but I didn't seem to detect much sound difference with the resonator delete, but I presume it helped overall flow.

I just had a newer version of those Magnaflow bullets installed. Guy said he'd eliminate the resonator for 40 bucks... Think I'll do that now.

Great sounds, but I can't believe they didn't try some of Borla's exhaust systems. I only have an ATAK axle back system and it's louder than all of the systems in this video, with the resonator

The flows sounded the smoothest (w/o resonator) to me but the bullets looked the best underneath. I will be going with shorty headers, x-pipe (minus resonator) and Flowmasters on a 2010 V6 w/RS package. Excellent video to help with my decision.

Awesome vid! Sympatic guy, a pity i live in germany... Got a 2011 2SS RS convertible. I just deleted the mufflers to get "some" sound cuz stock, i can fart more sound then the car does. But im getting borla atak for it. Try it put yourself! :)

I went from the massive refrigerator OEM mufflers to the Glass Packs which sounded really really nice and eventually went to a JBA catback which is still louder than OEM but won't ever be throaty without the long tube headers. I will post the stock manifold results I had here too just to kinda aid the video with some viewer input.

Put a flowmaster 40 series on my moms 2012 convertible SS. It sounds nice at idle, but it gets quieter the higher the RPMs get. Why is this? Is it because there is an extra supressor somewhere because its a convertible and its supposed to sound like a cruiser or something?

My personal opinion go with borla cat backs an LT headers with high flow cats, sounds nice an loud as hell at WOT!

I like that. It's hard to tellthe difference when you're listening to differnt videos, but when it's the same video, you can hear a more accurate difference. I wish you could do more mufflers. Corsa, Borla, JBA, Kooks....etc.
